Accesspoint Legal Services Team

The Accesspoint Legal Services core team have programming, project management, training design and delivery, as well as legal experience allowing them to design unique and innovativesolutions for clients. They are also able to draw upon the expertise of Accesspoint’s other divisions, when the need arises.

Together, the team can pick up an initial client brief, refine it and deliver client friendly operational processes designed to support process improvement and improved client services. Led by Julie Morgan, the team consists of Shirley Donald, Tom Durrant, Michelle Reptowski, Matt Smith, Adam Brookner and Joni Hasimvllari.

As a team we have undertaken extensive GDPR training and are fully compliant with GDPR Regulations.

Julie Morgan

Training & Development Manager

Julie has worked within the legal sector for over 30 years. From a receptionist within a law firm she was promoted internally into a team of legal secretaries, and then moved to a training position with Avenue Legal Systems who were later taken over by TFB, now known as Tikit (an Advanced company).

Julie also worked as an in-house trainer and developer for a well-established Solicitor in Bath, using Tikit’s Partner for Windows (P4W) practice management system (PMS), and during her time there, revolutionised their in-house systems including case management and Legal Aid billing.

Joining Accesspoint at its inception, Julie has worked on many case management development projects and has also project managed the set-upand development and training for the majority of Accesspoint’s client base using Tikit’s P4W and SOS Connect.

Julie offers consultancy and advice for legal software development and training plans.

She is vivacious, hardworking, experienced, knowledgeable and committed.

Shirley Donald

Legal IT Case Management Consultant

Shirley originally trained as a legal secretary and worked mainly on Social Welfare matters within a highly reputable east London practice.

In 2004, she was recruited internally within that practice to join an IT project team and, as a result, found her niche in the development of mainly case management systems.

Shirley joined Accesspoint from its launch and is an integral part of the development team, working tirelessly on many projects from template building to case workflows.

Detail conscious, precise and forward thinking, she brings project management skills, rigor, dedication and innovation to projects.

Steph Lennox

Senior Legal IT Trainer and Consultant

Steph joined Accesspoint in September 2020 with over 30 years’ experience working within law firms.

Having gained immeasurable experience in an array of legal support roles including Legal Secretary, Systems Administrator, 1st Line IT Helpdesk Support, Legal IT Trainer, Case Management development, Internal Communications, Marketing, PR and Events, Steph is perfectly placed to apply her skills to benefit the clients and complement the teams within any of the Accesspoint divisions, Accesspoint Technologies, Accesspoint Legal Services and Accesspoint Media Services.

Outside of work, Steph enjoys walking, cycling, gardening, Ceroc dancing and spending time with family and friends.

Hong Tran

Sales Manager

Hong has over 18 years’ experience in the Legal software sector, with specialist knowledge in Legal Practice and Case Management software. Having worked with hundreds of law firms on their Practice and Case Management implementations and assisted with the ongoing work to maximise the benefits of their significant investment, Hong is familiar with the challenges and opportunities that these systems present. His understanding of the inner workings of law firms enables him to provide pertinent and practical advice to clients.

He believes in a consultative approach to client discussions, often asking his clients to set aside their conceptions of which products they believe that they require for a certain project and instead to focus on the outcome and goals for the business, allowing our experts to put forward the most innovative solutions.

Deborah Kirk Jones

Account Manager

I’m very happy indeed to have recently joined the talented team at Accesspoint, as their core values align with mine; the most important being excellent customer relations.

I’ve worked in Legal IT for exactly 19 years and have always taken pride in looking after my clients during this time, helping them with everyday needs in relation to their practice management system and sometimes more. As part of Accesspoint’s highly experienced sales team, I’m really looking forward to building strong relationships with new customers in addition to reconnecting with those of you who are more longstanding!

Accesspoint are P4W speciaIists and this allows me in my new role to continue helping P4W users with training needs, bespoke reporting and Accesspoint’s Windows forms (designed by the Legal Services team) which make tasks such as client onboarding, and the creation of group entities a beautifully simplified processes. There are many more forms and add-ons available, which can often be tailored to suit individual firms. Jane Pritchard

Consultant

Jane is a tech lawyer offering a unique perspective on digital transformation. Having practiced as a Housing Lawyer Jane founded in-house digital transformation consultancy, practiced as an Innovation Consultant and led product innovation within InfoTrack.

Working alongside government agencies, client stakeholder groups and rep bodies on software pilots, Jane’s insight into the future evolution of digital legal services is phenomenal.

Consumer centric, Jane’s approach to legal Services Innovation is to focus on strategic growth through software automation, from the boardroom to the front office. Leaving no stone unturned, Jane works with our Legal Services team in building and delivering solutions for the future of legal services.

Michelle Reptowski

Legal IT Trainer and Consultant

Michelle initially began working in the legal sector as a legal secretary, gaining experience in housing, personal injury, clinical negligence and court of protection. She found her home within family law, and spent 18 years as a Family Legal Assistant, gaining the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives’ Certificate in Law & Practice (Family Practice).

Whilst working in law, Michelle was an IT Super User and provided IT support and training to her colleagues.

She joined Accesspoint Legal Services in 2018, bringing her current skills and expertise in training and delivery within the Legal IT sector. Michelle continues to work on the development of processes to enable lawyers to manage cases in a streamlined and cost-effective manner. She has also shown an aptitude for design and is currently designing several exciting new products and services for delivery later this year.

She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives Women Specialist Reference Group and retains an interest in the practice of law.

Matt Smith

Senior Developer

Matt joined Accesspoint in 2014 as an apprentice support analyst providing IT technical support to all of Accesspoint’s clients. He found his niche in training and development and moved into the role of junior developer.

Using his development knowledge and experience, by providing support on-site at law firms around London, he can bring a range of skills to design, implementation and streamlining of new and existing systems.

Matt has a broad range of development skills, including SQL, C#, HTML, CSS, Databases, XML, Crystal reports, SSRS, WordPress, ASP, and has an excellent knowledge of the case management system Partner for Windows (P4W). He has currently been working in partnership, developing the Doclogix platform, a business automation eco-system which is a web application written in ASP.NET.

Reuben Manning

Senior Developer

During my previous 13 years working in a successful Legal Software and Consultancy Company, I have walked and talked in supporting, consulting and developing tools in each of the management software cornerstones (Practice, Document, Template, Time, Process and Contact).

At Accesspoint, the constraints are off. Joni Hasimvllari

Developer

A recent addition to the development team, Joni has spent his little time here adapting to the technologies used both on the client side and the development side.

Having an educational background in computing, Joni joined the team with a range of experience both in front and back-end languages such as C#, SQL and Javascript to name a few.

Adam Brookner

Developer

Adam joined Accesspoint in 2017 as a software apprentice, after completing an Access to Higher Education course in computing.

He is just one of a growing team of apprentices who have joined us over the past couple of years and has already proved to be a very worthwhile addition to the team. Since joining Accesspoint, Adam has become experienced in the following: SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services, TaskCentre, Crystal Reports, MVC Framework (C#), Oyez Forms and Doclogix (Business Automation Eco-System).

Adam is creative and has an eye for detail, favouring a simplistic approach to achieve a complex goal.

Dawn Breeze

Administration Manager

Dawn is an experienced administrator and office manager who joined Accesspoint in 2017. She has worked in the private and public sectors, for charities and even ran her own business for 10 years. Her varied working history has given her a rounded experience of how offices and the people within them work.
As Accesspoints’ Office Manager Dawn looks after our staff from an HR perspective, ensures the office is able to run efficiently and effectively and oversees the accounts.

Scott Brown

Digital Services Manager

After many years with Accesspoint, Scott now heads up the Media Services brand, the web-development and marketing division of Accesspoint.

Starting his career as a Graphic Designer, Scott soon progressed onto designing and developing high-end, bespoke websites from scratch. Scott has a natural instinct for creating highly effective website user experiences, having a keen eye for detail and design.

Alongside website development, Scott honed his skills around digital marketing and pushing the boundaries to deliver more. Including: Search engine optimisation, social media management, pay per click campaigns, email marketing, conversion optimisation, data analysis, keyword research, competitor analysis, intelligent automation, bespoke software integrations and more.

With all of the above as a collective skillset, Scott is now a highly valued member of the senior management team helping to shape new and exciting product offerings.

Aleksander Noworol

Website Developer

Alek has been with Accesspoint since 2018. He is a highly experienced full-stack web developer who brought over 7 years of his professional expertise to the team. Alek is our Lead Web Developer at Accesspoint Media Services and oversees all website activities from initial requirements to the final recommendations and improvements on all our client sites.

Alek has gained a wealth of hands-on knowledge in advertising and marketing techniques. In addition to writing excellent code (PHP, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML, CSS) and building functional, bespoke websites, Alek’s skills include, but are not limited to, project management, API integrations, on-page and off-page search engine optimisation (SEO), data analysis, UX, email marketing, A/B testing, paid advertisement and conversion optimisation.

Jamie Hamilton

Junior Full Stack Developer

Jamie joined the Media Services team in late 2020 after a life changing decision and leaving a career in the music industry to retrain in web and software development. He came to the team with all round skills and the experience of producing full-stack web applications, integrating primarily Python, React, JavaScript, CSS, Sass, SQLite, Django and Bootstrap.

He loves keeping up to speed with new technologies and has a keen interest in various automation and optimisation tools such as REST APIs, Git and webpack.

Jamie is a guy you want on your side, always pushing to achieve more and deliver results.

Oliver Hood

I have 2 years of agency-based experience using tools like SEMrush for B2B and B2C to help them to get more engagement and business through their rankings.

I feel like Accesspoint is a great move for me because they are a very fast-growing company and are very open to try new things, which is exactly what I was looking for. I’m a very passionate football fan and unfortunately, I support Manchester United!

Arminta Butrimaite

Creative Designer

Arminta joined Accesspoint in 2019 as a creative designer after finishing an apprenticeship in business administration.

She has always had a passion for design, creating leaflets and logos for family and friends but had little to no experience on Adobe Software. Since then, she has quickly progressed in her role and has already proved to be a very worthwhile addition to the team. Over the past year, she has gained certification in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator and doesn’t plan to stop there.

Using her knowledge and personality Arminta not only brings a valuable range of skills to the team but a real energy and enthusiasm for everything she does to help our clients.
