Goodman Ray are one of the UK’s most respected family law practices, known for their empathetic yet tenacious representation in complex children, divorce and family matters. With a heritage stretching back to 1985, they had built a reputation for strength and depth in practice — but their digital presence didn’t reflect this stature.

The old site struggled with heavy colours, dated information architecture and a tone that spoke like “lawyer-speak” rather than client-centric language. Social media lacked cohesion, imagery was inconsistent, and despite great expertise, search visibility was limited..

Goodman Ray’s legacy deserved more than a refresh — it needed visual confidence. We stripped back the old heavy palette and introduced crisp white space paired with refined blues drawn from the existing logo, plus a bold accent colour to create standout call-to-actions and personality across the site.

Legal language can be overwhelming. We rewrote core messaging to balance clarity with expert authority — no jargon, just clear, supportive language that reassured potential clients and spoke to their needs.
